Officer Hub
Sign in to the Officer Hub for the first time
Accept your invite, choose a password, and set up the authenticator app that protects your local’s files. Plan on about ten minutes.
- Who can do this
- Anyone invited to the Officer Hub.
Your Officer Hub account starts with an invite from your local president or Site Admin. Plan on about ten minutes, and have your phone with you.
Accept your invite

- Open the invite email and choose Accept invite. The link works for a limited time, usually seven days.
- Check the card that says You are joining. It names the local and the role you were invited as. If it is not what you expected, do not accept. Ask the person who invited you.
- Press Email me a code. We send a six-digit code to the address you were invited at. Type it into Six-digit code from the email and press Confirm code. The code works for 15 minutes; Send a new code sends another.
- Choose a password of at least 8 characters and type it again under Confirm password.
- If the page shows the Terms of Service, read them and tick the box.
- Press Accept invite. You are signed in straight away.
Note: The code is how we know the invite reached you. Only the person who reads that email can accept, so do not share the code, even with the officer who invited you.
Presidents land on Set up your local. Other officers land on the Officer Hub home page.
Note: Already have a UnionOps account with another local? The page asks for your existing password instead, and the button says Confirm and add local.
If the link has expired
The page says so and offers Email me a new link. That works for up to 30 days after the invite expired. After that, ask for a new invite.
Set up your authenticator app
Officer Hub keeps grievance files and member records, so your local may ask for a second check when you sign in: a six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. Any standard authenticator app works.
- When asked, choose Generate setup code. A QR code appears.
- Open your authenticator app, add an account, and scan the QR code. If you cannot scan it, choose Can't scan the QR code? and type the key instead.
- Type the code your app shows into Enter the 6-digit code from your app, then press Confirm and enable.
- Your Recovery codes appear once. Choose Download as text file or Copy all, keep them somewhere safe away from your phone, tick I have saved these codes, and press Continue.
Careful: Each recovery code works once. They are how you get back in if you lose your phone. Without them, Site Admin has to reset your account.
Sign in after that

- Open the sign-in page, choose I already have an account, enter your email and password, and press Sign in.
- If the site asks for a code, open your authenticator app and type the six-digit code into Six-digit authenticator code. It checks as soon as you type the sixth digit.
Lost your phone? Choose Recovery code and type one of your saved codes instead.
If you forget your password
- On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password?.
- Enter your email and press Send reset link.
- Open the email within two hours, choose a new password, and press Save password.
Check your security settings later
Your profile, in the account menu, has a Security card. It shows whether your authenticator app is set up and how many recovery codes you have left. From there you can Generate new recovery codes or Replace authenticator when you change phones.
