Why UnionOps is free (and always will be)

Most software follows the same tired pattern: give you something useful, lock you in, then hit you with a monthly fee.

We hate that. Union dues should go to fighting for workers, not software subscriptions just to do basic organizing.

UnionOps was built out of solidarity, not for profit.

Our promise:

• No subscriptions: This tool is free. No premium tiers, no paywalls, no hidden fees.
• No data harvesting: We don't harvest your data or sell ads. Comms tools are local-first: graphics and brand kit stay in your browser. If you (or your local) host an Officer Hub, that instance holds hub records — and the operator of that host is the data controller. Prefer Canadian hosting for confidential work. No venture landlords, no surveillance business model.
• No ads, no tracking: We aren't selling your attention.

UnionOps is built by union volunteers who wanted a solid tool for people doing the hard work on the ground.
