Find your way around the Officer Hub

The Officer Hub home page answers two questions: what needs your attention, and where your tools are. What you see depends on your role and the tools your local has turned on.

What needs my attention?

This section shows the work waiting on you:

• My tasks: tasks assigned to you that are still open. Choose one to open it, or Open task board to see them all.
• Your unanswered check-ins: questions your executive asks regularly, such as what you are working on this week.

If both are empty, nothing is waiting on you right now.

Your first tasks

Stewards and executive members see Your first tasks the first time they visit: your grievances, your task list, the steward guides, Officer Learning, your sign-in settings, and who to ask in your local. Press Got it, hide this when you are done. Show my first tasks brings the list back.

Presidents see Set up your local instead, until setup is finished. Set up your local walks through it.

Your tools

Your tools has a tile for each module your local uses, such as Grievances, Tasks or Documents. On a phone, the rest are under More officer tools. If a tool you expect is missing, your local may not use it, or your role may not include it. Ask your president.

The bar at the top

• Hide side navigation and Show side navigation fold the menu on the left away when you need more room.
• If you have more than one role, such as president and Local Admin, choose the workspace you want to work in.
• If you serve more than one local, choose it under Active local. Everything you see and create belongs to that local.
• Help opens the help article for the page you are on.

The menu

On a phone, or whenever the side navigation is hidden, press Menu at the top of the page. It lists the Officer Hub and the Local Portal, the tools for the area you are in, and your account: Profile and Sign out.
