Print Communications Guide
When to print and how to pair print with digital channels
When to print
Print when members may not see social posts: shift workers, members without smartphones, and high-traffic workplace areas. Flyers work for rallies and picket lines; board notices work for ongoing visibility.
Flyers and handouts
Use the Flyer Maker for picket lines and rallies. Export PDF for letter-size printing at home or a copy shop. Keep text large and high-contrast for outdoor visibility.
Board notices
Use the Board Notice Maker for workplace bulletin boards. Tabloid (11×17) size is easier to read from a distance. Letter size fits standard union boards.
Print plus digital
Share the same date, time, and location across board notice, flyer, social graphic, and website. One message, four channels - less confusion for members.
